There are two things in my life, other than friends and family, that I love so much I could not live without. What, you ask, could be on the same level as the love you have for your family and friends?
The first is food…duh! How did I figure this out? Well, I am the pickiest eater I know. I refuse to waste calories. So, when I eat, I want it to be good. I have grown into quite the home chef, according to family and friends, because I am typically not satisfied after leaving a restaurant. What makes it even worse, I am from the south, we know not to be rude. So, we typically push our plates to the side and never return to the restaurant. Paying a bill for food that was inedible and/or unsatisfying is enough to break any foodies heart.
The second love of my life is travel and adventure. Most of my life was spent in the southern United States. I knew from an early age that I wanted to become more cultured. If I have a few minutes to watch television, I am either watching, the History Channel, Travel Channel, or a cooking show. To me, travel is all about learning new cultures and history, seeing our planet so that we want to preserve it, and experiencing new cuisines. So, I love to travel too. But, I think I love to travel so much because of my love for eating new cuisines.
The good thing for me is that travel and food go together like peas and carrots!
